About Us
French cuisine at its most delicious
Bringing his blend of acclaimed French artistry to Saudi Arabia, Chef Daniel Boulud makes his Middle East debut, with Café Boulud at Four Seasons Riyadh. A tribute to his great grandparents’ restaurant in Lyon, his concept celebrates the gastronomic traditions of this French region, where precision and authenticity showcase enticing seasonal ingredients.
Café Boulud offers a refined setting where diners can connect over excellent food, overseen by Executive Chef Nicolas Lemoyne. Classic brasserie meets elegant sunlit conservatory, with the addition of outdoor seating. There’s also the chef’s table private dining experience, Julian by Daniel Boulud, an epic Cheese Library and glamorous bar.
Daniel Boulud
Chef-Owner
Raised on a farm near Lyon, France, Chef Boulud was steeped in French culinary traditions from a young age. His culinary journey began at 15 with an apprenticeship at a two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Lyon, and by 17, he was recognized as a finalist for the Best Culinary Apprentice in France. Since arriving in New York in 1982, Chef Boulud has established himself as one of America’s leading chefs, with his two-Michelin-starred restaurant Daniel and Café Boulud in New York. The Café Boulud brand – now with locations in Palm Beach, Toronto and the Bahamas – is especially meaningful to him, as it honours the original café started by his great-grandparents on their farm in Lyon.
